Miss Andrea's Musical Menagerie

Miss Andrea's Musical Menagerie

This interactive program is free and open to the public and will give participants a chance to learn about instrument families and how they work. Attendees will even get to hold (and play!) all sorts of real musical instruments! It will be fun for all ages preschool and up - and no prior experience is necessary! Come out and play at the Belt Branch from 11-noon and at the Savannah branch from 4-5 PM! Program participants will have the chance to win a real musical instrument and everyone will leave with an awesome goody bag!

Miss Andrea has been an active musician and music educator in the Kansas City area for over 15 years. She has a full private horn studio and teaches at Northwest Missouri State University and Mid-America Nazarene University. She is a frequent guest clinician in area schools and has led educational programs for the Kansas City Symphony and St. Joseph Symphony. Over 10,000 children in Missouri and Kansas have participated in programs led by Miss Andrea!
